Cross Country at Trinity/Valkryie and Central Kentucky Conference

Saturday, the team went to Louisville to compete in the Trinity/Valkryie Invitational. Our varsity boys’ team was led by Wesley Buck and Rylan Jack, and our varsity girls were led by Billie Phemister and Sophia Anderson. Our junior/senior girls’ squad was led by Yisell Baires, and Jordan Richardson was first for our junior/senior boys. Zoe Kasacavage was our top freshman/sophomore girls’ race finisher, and Rhett Boelscher led our freshman/sophomore boys. 13 of our athletes set new personal bests at this highly competitive meet.

On Tuesday, our varsity squads competed in the Central Kentucky Conference championship meet. Our girls’ team earned the third place trophy, and our boys finished a strong fourth as a team. Billie Phemister (2nd), Sophia Anderson (3rd), Caroline Warren (12th), Wesley Buck (5th), and Kent Stamper (19th) all turned in impressive top 20 performances.
