Welcome to our new lacrosse coaches

We are happy to announce our new Boys Lacrosse Head Coach, Coach Adkins. A little about Coach Adkins below:

I am a Henry Clay lacrosse alumnus and three-time state champion, I’m honored to return as the new Boys Lacrosse Head Coach after spending the past two years as an assistant. I played two years at Transylvania University before bringing back Morton’s program in 2022, where we reached three championships and won one in three years. I then returned to Henry Clay as a lacrosse assistant, while also serving as the Running Backs Coach for Henry Clay football. As a defensive-minded lacrosse coach, I’m looking forward to bringing Henry Clay back to its glory days.

I’m so excited to announce that I’m stepping into the Head Coach position for Henry Clay Girls’ Lacrosse! After two incredible years as an assistant here, I’m ready to lead this program into its next chapter. Lacrosse has been a huge part of my life starting in middle school, through my time with Eastern High School and Bluegrass Premier, and on to the collegiate level with Transylvania University. This season, my goal is to foster a positive culture while bringing a fierce competitive edge to Lexington lacrosse. I can’t wait to get started! Go Blue Devils!
