Boys golf starts summer off on a good note

The boys golf team has participated in two tournaments while everyone is enjoying their summer break. This past weekend the boys competed in the Gimmie Golf Classic hosted by Clay County at Boone’s Trace National in Richmond. Henry Clay as a team shot a 295 to come out with a first place finish against some stiff competition such as Frederick Douglass, Lexington Catholic, and Clarke County. The team scored the following:

The boys then competed in this weeks KGCA Invitational at Lakeside Golf Course. They earned a 3rd place finish, and Charlie Bonilla finished in 2nd place individually with a score of 70 (-2). Congrats to the boys on a strong start to their season!
